Harmonic Tensions

This string instrument is plucked and played by an electric current.
It flows through each string, creating vibration through
the interaction with magnets placed alongside the string.

By switching and modulating the current,
the strings begins to move and vibrate.
Each string is tensioned by a motor,
changing its ability to resonate.

The strings movement is captured and amplified with infrared sensing.
The interaction of both tension and frequency evolves
into a fascinating landscape of sound and movement.
